Olive Louise Mack

Olive Louise Gilbert was born on April 16, 1917, in Fairchild, Wisconsin to parents Frank and Rosella (Knight) Gilbert. She attended school and graduated the 8th grade in Morris, Wisconsin. On July 24, 1935, she was united in marriage to George Mack in Glidden, Wisconsin. The couple lived in Trego, where 7 children were born. Olive enjoyed gardening, crocheting, feeding and watching birds, and flowers.

Olive died at the Spooner Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the age of 95.

Olive is survived by her children: Georgean (Glenn) Pittman of Elizabeth City, NC,

Gary Mack of Trego, WI, David Mack of Spring Lake Park, MN, Luella Musser of Tacoma, WA, 32 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Olive is preceded in death by her parents, husband George, sons: Dale and Harlan Mack, daughter Joyce Frederickson, granddaughter Amanda Gergor, sisters: Ida Bushshaw, Edith Rice, Pearl Lange, Doris Thayer, brothers: Raymond, Harold, and Everett Gilbert.

Funeral services for Olive Mack will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 2 pm, at the Dahl Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Lampson Cemetery next to her husband George. Casket bearers will be Randy Daniels, Bill, Chris, Mike, and Nick Frederickson, and Gary Lindeman. A reception will follow the interment at the home of Bill Frederickson, west of Lampson on Cty Hwy F.
