Albert V. Carlozzi, Sr., 87, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to Nicholas and Natalie Carlozzi. He was of the Catholic faith and a US Army veteran. Albert was the most genuine, kind, and loving man that any family could wish for and we had the privilege of calling him our “Papa”. Albert loved to socialize, watch baseball, and always brought a sense of humor to the table that was unrivaled. But most of all he was a family man who instilled impeccable values in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will last for generations to come. Some of the fondest memories of Albert will be conversations had over dinner, him yelling at the T.V over an error made by a ball club, and the playful bickering between him and his wife Palma whom he absolutely adored and loved dearly. Papa you are loved and admired more than any words can express, enjoy yourself up there as we will see you again. This is in no way a goodbye but an I’ll see you later. We love you.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Palma Carlozzi; daughter Christine Goodworth; son Albert V. Carlozzi Jr.; two grandchildren; Jimmy and Samantha Goodworth. And two great-grandchildren; Jackson and Jordan Goodworth.
Memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Turner Funeral Home 14360 Spring Hill Dr., Spring Hill, Florida 34609. 352-796-9661
