

Bruce Warren of Spring Hill, FL passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at his residence with his wife by his side. He was 69. Bruce was born in Goshen, NY, on December 30, 1946, the son of the late William H. and Gertrude (Gray) Warren. Bruce was a graduate of Goshen High School. Bruce enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1987. He worked for Frontier Communications of N.Y. as a cable splicer and retired in 1998. Since then he has resided in Tennessee, Arizona and came back east to Florida 2 years ago. Bruce was a founding member of the Goshen Volunteer Ambulance Corp and a past member of Dikeman Engine & Hose Co. He was an avid airplane enthusiast. He earned his private pilot license in 1966. When he stopped flying the “Big Planes” he was flying Remote Control Airplanes. He was a member of the Chino Valley Model Aviators in Chino Valley, AZ and Hernando County RC Club in Brooksville, Florida. Bruce is survived by his wife of 37 years, Maryjane at home; his children, Julie Vestea and her husband, Chris of Spring Hill, FL and Michael Ceriale and his significant other Robin Swift of Maybrook, NY, 2 grandchildren, Joseph Vestea and Amber Ceriale. He is also survived by brothers, Frank, Howard, Richard, and Ronald Warren. Additionally, he will be missed by his loyal Greyhound companions, Dudley and Rainey.
