

Rosado, Carmen D., 86, of Spring Hill, passed into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2016. Carmen was born February 10, 1930 in Cidra, Puerto Rico to Miguel Torres and Serafina Torres. She was the youngest of ten children. She married Justino Rosado on November 5, 1949 in the Bronx, New York and had three children, Justino Rosado, Carmen A. Rosado and James A. Rosado. The family moved to Union City, NJ in 1969. Carmen began working at a manufacturing company in 1963 and retired in 1983. She had numerous positions and worked her way up to supervisor for the company prior to retirement. In 1983 Justino Rosado retired from his supervisory position at the Consolidated Edison Company and they moved to Spring Hill, Florida. Carmen was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Spring Hill, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Carmen A. Rosado, and her sons, Justino Rosado and his wife Aida, and James Rosado and his wife Maria; two sisters Teresa Sanchez of Puerto Rico, Maria Isabel Torres of New York and one brother Miguel Torres of Florida; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is predeceased by her loving husband Justino Rosado; her father Miguel Torres and mother Serafina Torres; her brother Felix Torres and her sisters Ana Luisa Rosado, Gloria Torres, Ricarda Torres, Eloisa Fagundo and Estervina Pina; and two grandchildren Justin and Joseph Rosado.
