Charles Clifford “Cliff” Stone, 76, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Friday, February 1, 2019. He was born in Antler, Oklahoma to Charles and Thelma Rogers. After high school Cliff joined the U.S. Air Force and proudly served his country. He was a top salesman for Prudential Insurance Company, which lead him to opening his own agency. He was a musician who played the drums in several places throughout Tampa. Cliff was an avid golf player and a member of A.A. for 48 years. He was of the Christian faith and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles Clifford and Thelma Rogers, brother Charles Rogers, Jr., sons Tommy M. Smith and Charles S. Zies, and service dog Hope.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Jenny Stone, daughters Deborah Castellano, Cathy Stone, Andrea Stone, Jennifer Haines (Dean), Amanda Michie (Scott), Kanda Carr (Greg), Stacey Dark (Gary), Michelle Held (Rick), Brandy Merchant; son Christopher Stone (Nanette); sister Elizabeth Cobianci, several cherished cousins; 26 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8PM Sunday, February 10, 2019. Funeral service will be 12PM Monday, February 11, 2019 all located at Turner Funeral Home. Burial will be 2PM located at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
