Born in Exeter, NH he was a son of the late Joseph G and Alma B Abbott. He was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps serving during World Wat II and again during the Korean War. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill, FL. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed tinkering and puttering and keeping everything in military order. He loved life and his family.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Turner Funeral Homes Spring Hill Chapel, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, FL with a Prayer Service at 3:00 PM.
