Glenn was born August 13, 1944 in Ripley, WV. He married Jean Allison Griffith in July of 1992, and was a Press Foreman for the Tampa Tribune, Miami Herald and the Washington Post. He was a member of the DAV-Disabled American Veterans and loved playing pool, poker and being with his family.
Survivors include his children, Jenny Etheridge, Millie Griffith-Howerton, Glenn H. Griffith, Jr., James E. Griffith, Jacqueline Griffith, Crystal Griffith and Melissa Griffith; Siblings, Robert (Marilee) Griffith, Jerry (Charla) Griffith, Eddie (Monica) Griffith and Cheryl (Sherri) Griffith Odom; 18 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
