Grace Eileen (Castor) Pritz was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 22, 1922. She passed from this life on October 16, 2020 in Brooksville, FL. Her parents were Edwin and Eleanor Castor. She was the fourth child of six girls and one boy. She grew up in Foxchase, Philadelphia and attended Girls High. She met Raymond Pritz at Pinebrook Bible Camp in the Pocono Mtns in 1940 while he was singing in the Percy Crawford Quartet. They were married in 1944. She graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University in 1945. She joined in her husband’s ministry after his graduation from Seminary and as he pastored Walnut Street Baptist Church in Waterloo, IA and then at Immanuel Baptist Church in Richmond, VA. Her husband, Ray then became a Chaplain in the Air Force and they served together for the next 28 years on 13 Air Force bases all over the USA and in England, Germany and Spain. She spent this major portion of her life supporting Air Force personnel and families, living the Gospel and loving her Savior, Jesus Christ. During that time she raised five boys: Ray, Ron, David, Gordon and Ken. After retiring from the Air Force at their final base, MacDill AFB, Tampa in 1980, husband Ray became pastor of Davis Islands Community Church for 7 years and then served on the pastoral staff of Bayshore Baptist Church, with Eileen by his side. Along with her five sons, Eileen and Ray have 18 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. The love of her life, Raymond, went to be with the Lord in 2006 and Eileen has desired to follow him to heaven ever since.
