Irma Gulotta, beloved wife, mother, mimi, and sister, passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on July 8, 1943, in Sarno, Italy, Irma later made a life rooted in family, faith, and community, and was a resident of Spring Hill, Florida. Irma will be remembered as a beloved presence whose warmth and devotion were felt by all who knew her.
Irma graduated from New Utrecht High School and went on to build a dedicated working life, serving as an office manager and shoe model for Eclisse Shoes and later on Larry Stuart Shoe Company. Her steady professionalism and pride in her work reflected the care she brought to every part of her life.
On August 24, 1963, Irma married the love of her life, Barney Gulotta. Together they shared a life centered on family. Irma is survived by her children, Lillian Sena and Geralyn Noto, along with their spouses Gerald Sena and Joe Noto, and by her grandchildren, Nicole, Joe, Nicolette, Joseph, and Christina. She is also survived by her brother, Carl Campagnuolo and spouse Frances Campagnuolo.
Irma found joy in the simple and spirited pleasures of life, with a passion for dancing—especially line dancing—singing, traveling, and shopping, interests that reflected her lively heart and love of being with others. She was a devoted member of her church, where she volunteered regularly, and served as vice president of the Sons and Daughters of Italy for 2 years while still remaining active in the group for many years after. A role that honored her heritage and strengthened the community she cherished. She was also an active member of the New York Transit Authority Group, where her presence and leadership touched many lives.
