We celebrate the cherished memories and lasting impressions that a great man forever left imprinted into our collective consciousness. Jacob Stepp, also known as Jake, he would prefer Jake the Snake though. He was a man of pure conviction and determination, always left a permanent and indelible impression on those that had the privilege to know him. Jake’s greatest accomplishments could never be measured in monitory value or by the accumulation of the material things that we do so often cling to. His wealth was measured in his passion and unconditional love that he had for his family. Today is a celebration of the love that he poured into our souls. The story of Jake Stepp is a story of mythical proportions and urban legend. Jake always strived to be the best in all things even when faswed with what seemed to be insurmountable obstacles. We will miss that infectious smile, unmistakable laugh, and the embellished stories that only he could tell. Jake was a great man and will forever be remembered as just that.
Jake is survived by Melinda Stepp, his wife of 45 years and the only love of his life. His three sons, Jason (Peggy) Stepp, Jamie (Lori) Stepp, and Jeremy (Arlene) Stepp. He is also survived by two brothers Gary and Larry Stepp, as well as one sister Patty. Jake is also survived by five Granddaughters; Hayley, Brianna, Alexis, Malaney, and Madison. He is also survived by five Grandsons; Jacob, Jamon, Aiden, Wyatt, and Jason. Jake is also survived by one Greatgrandson Emerson, as well as his beloved dog Curly Sue.
