He was a retired firefighter for the Calumet City Fire Department.
When he wasn’t serving his community, he could often be found on the golf course. He loved golf, but he loved it just a little more when it cost you a dollar a hole. He was also a lifelong Chicago Bears fan and followed each season with enduring hope.
His greatest joy, however, was being a dad and a proud Jaja to his grandchildren. His presence will be missed beyond words, but the love he gave will continue to guide his family. He was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
