Larry was born in Arlington, Virginia on June 14, 1948, and graduated from Marshall High School.
He was married to Linda Kidwell on December 6, 1986.
Larry had a career in the U.S. Navy for 22 years and General Dynamics.
He was a member of VFW Post 10209, American Legion and had a passion for golf, his truck, M&M Collection, watching his favorite t.v shows such as The Walton's and Miami Vice.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence Edward Kidwell, Sr. and Margaret Lillian Kidwell; grandson, Joshua Brown, Jr.; and sister, Bonnie Garner.
He was survived by his loving wife, Linda Kidwell; daughter Lori (Alan) Jackson; step-daughter Teresa (James) Brown; grandson James Brown Jr.; and siblings, Gary (Robin) Kidwell and Patsy (Jim) Hughes.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Turner Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:30am. Burial and military honors will follow at the Florida National Cemetery.
