Pixie, the youngest of five children was born on October 7, 1959 to Earl and Agnita Houser in Pontiac, Michigan. Following her graduation from high school, she went on to become a dental assistant which became her life-long career. She was adored by her patients and co-workers and known to be responsible for helping so many overcome the fear of the dentist and instead, looked forward to it!
Pixie was the Mother of five children who were the loves of her life-Jennifer Siem (Tony Siem), Jessica Lamphier (Gage Carte), Troy Lamphier (Rick Palmisano), Taylor Lamphier (Melanie Lamphier) and Karlie Fuca (Dom Fuca). But she was “Mom” to countless more who claim her as their own! Being a Grandmother was Pixie’s greatest joy! She was so proud of and had incredible love for Mackenzie Pelaez (Ryan), Aliyah Siem, Noah Siem, Jaxon Conlisk, Tatum Lamphier, Charlie Lamphier, Oliver Carte, Penelope Lamphier, Baby Fuca (due 4/29) and great granddaughter, Baby Pelaez (due 2/6). It can’t be overstated that Pixie’s spirit, humor, kindness and love for others endeared her to everyone that knew her.
Pixie spent the last decade her of life with her fiancé, Bert Olton. While they met later in life, their love and companionship was a gift. Pixie loved Bert and his kindness and devotion helped her through some of her happiest and also her hardest days.
Pixie knew how to celebrate! She was the life of every party- weddings, new life as little ones arrived, fun with friends and time with family- she took every opportunity and enjoyed it to the fullest. The phone calls, letters, cards, and visits Pixie received during the final weeks of her life were a tremendous source of joy, peace, and comfort to her.
We invite you to celebrate her life and help us keep her legacy of love alive!
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6pm Tuesday, January 9th at Rookies Sports Bar & Grill 3095 Anderson Snow Rd. Spring Hill, FL 34609
