Peggy was married to Vito Mongelli for 56 years until his passing. She was a beloved mother of five children and is survived by two, Michele Meli and Joseph Mongelli. She was a proud and loving Nana to 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Peggy was a member of the VFW #10209 Ladies Auxiliary and St Joan of Arc Catholic Church, where she found community, friendship, and connection. She will be remembered for the simple things she loved most—playing Bingo and crocheting baby blankets for her loved ones, a tradition that will be cherished for generations.
More than anything, Peggy will be remembered for her strength, her warmth, and the love she gave so freely to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, devotion, and deep-rooted love that will continue through generations. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
