Martha L. McConnell, 95, of Hudson, Florida passed away Monday, July 20, 2015. She was born in Dalton, Georgia to Bailey and Minnie Varner. Martha moved to Columbus, Ohio in the 60's and married Charles McConnell. She was of the Christian faith and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles McConnell; son, William Goodlett; parents, Bailey and Minnie Varner; sister, Katherine Wofford; brothers, Henry and Jack Varner and granddaughter, Katherine McQueen.
She is survived by her grandchildren Juanita Hairston, Jacqueline (Gary) Mosley, Wesley (Davica) Goodlett, Angela (Alvin) Rice, Karla Edgerton, Karen Henderson, and Jon (Ju'an) Henderson, over 20+ great grand children, daughter-in-law Felicia Goodlett and other relatives and friends.
A Special acknowlegement to Juanita Hairston(Granddaughter), Juanita Sherylle Hairston, David William Hairston (Great Grandchildren), and friend Vicki Fischel for their help in taking care of "Granny".
