

Neil Joseph Sullivan, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. He was born in Queens, New York, to Thomas Sullivan and Margaret Taguer Sullivan. Neil graduated from Hicksville High School and married the love of his life, Mary Lynn Sullivan, on June 26, 1977.
Neil had a distinguished career in law enforcement, serving with the Nassau County, New York Police Department and the Hernando County Sheriff’s Department in Florida. He was a proud member of the 10-13 Club, the Wellington Car Club, and the Suncast Corvette Club.
He had a passion for family, making people laugh, giving great advice, writing, painting, cooking, wine, and Corvettes. He was a published author and was highly decorated throughout his law enforcement career. Neil was a man of many talents, excelling in numerous areas. Above all, he was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. His loving family and friends will deeply miss him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Lynn Sullivan; his children: Danny (Jennifer) Sullivan, Cherie Sullivan, and Chris Sullivan; his grandchildren: Dalton (Kate) Edmunds, James Tyler Edmunds, Jeanna Anderson, and Sage Sullivan; and his brother, Tommy (Susan) Sullivan; Brothers-in-law Frank Napolitano and Peter Napolitano.
Memorial Mass 11am Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church 5030 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, Florida 34609.
