

He was born January 5th,1934 in the beautiful, picturesque town of Bluehill, Maine, and raised in Brooklin. He was the only child of Owen and Rachel Anderson. His mother died soon after his birth of Tuberculosis. His grandparents, Adelburt and Christina Anderson, who had immigrated from Limerick, Ireland stepped in to raise him.
Owen spent his growing up years boating, fishing, and clam digging off of the Islands near his home. When he was 9 years old his father was drafted into Military Service, where he served his country in France, during WWII.
After Owen graduated from Brooklin High School in 1953, he joined the U.S.Marines. He was very proud to serve his country in the 6th Infantry Division, where he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
After his tour with the Marine Corp, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to work at Milwaukee Tool & Die, as a Lathe Machinist. It was during this time that he met the love of his life, Eleanor Marie Goddard, they married June 4th, 1960. Owen & Eleanor celebrated 61 years of marriage on June 4th, 2021 with their 3 daughters, Lori, Debbie, and Wendy.
Owen finished life with this Hope: 2 Timothy 4:7 I have Finished my course, I have kept the Faith! Ephesians 2: 6-7 And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places with Christ, that in the Ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by Grace are you saved through Faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.
Owen is survived by his daughters, Lori (Billy) Feltner, Debbie (Richard) Davis, Wendy( Steve) Murphy; five grandchildren, Matthew Simshauser, Julia Murphy, Justin ( Cesia) Murphy, Jessie Murphy, and Jamie Murphy; three great-grandchildren, Ashton & Chase Simshauser, and Isabella Murphy.
His wife Eleanor & his grandson Chad Feltner, preceded him in death.
