Following a courageous 2-year battle with cancer, Robert Lee “Bob” Berriman, age 77, of Brooksville, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024.

Bob was born on February 2nd, 1947 in Detroit, MI to Edward Evans Berriman Jr. and Mary Stevens Berriman. On April 7th, 1967, Robert married the love of his life, Joan E. Colvin, in Ferndale, MI.

Bob was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He met his wife, Joan, when they were in high school together in Ferndale, MI, got back together during college, married and spent 57 and half beautiful years together and had two children, a daughter, Jacqueline Lee Berriman and a son, Robert Steven Berriman.

Bob worked in the commercial printing industry for 48 years, performing any and every job within the industry, such as typesetting, press operator, bindery department, estimating and purchasing. In his free time, Bob enjoyed golfing. While living in Acworth GA, Bob was a ranger at the prestigious Cobblestone Golf Club. He also was a ranger at the Fed-Ex Cup of 2011 in East Lake, GA. Bob also enjoyed playing Texas hold’em with his buddies. Bob and his wife, Joan, were avid campers, camping together up and down the East Coast. They tent camped together for years, before finally graduating to a travel trailer. When Bob and Joan moved to Brooksville, they made the decision to sell the travel trailer, being that they were so close to all of the parks they knew and loved.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Evans Berriman Jr. and Mary Stevens Berriman, as well as his paternal grandparents, Edward Evans Berriman Sr. and Louisa Jane Date, and his sister-in-law Judy Kraskey.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Joan E. Berriman, his children and grandchildren, daughter, Jacqueline Lee Berriman and her daughter, McKenna Elizabeth, as well as his son, Robert Steven Berriman and his wife, Tracey Renee Berriman, and their two children, Samantha Nicole and Jack Howard. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Bob Kraskey and nephews Glenn and Matt and their families, and his sister-in-law Carolyn West and nephews Mark and Brian and their families, as well as other relatives and many good friends.
