Robert Jay Conley

At the age of 66, residing in Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 7, 2025, with his devoted family by his side.

Bob was born on September 16,1958 in Wimple Park, England, at an Air Force hospital. He spent his early years in St Petersburg, FL, before his family moved to Spring Hill in 1972. He graduated from Hernando High School in 1976 and later earned his AA degree from PHCC. While in high school, Bob met the love of his life, Cecelia, and together they shared 47 wonderful years of marriage.

A devoted Catholic and member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th degree, Bob lived his life guided by faith, family, and friendship. He worked for Cameron Ashley Building Products for 25 years before retiring after an accident in 2005 that forever changed his life. Even so, Bob faced his challenges with courage and grace. His strength, determination, and positive outlook inspired everyone who knew him.

A loyal Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, Bob proudly held season tickets for 15 years. He rarely missed a home game, and it brought him great joy to cheer on his team while surrounded by family and friends.

Bob will be remembered most for his devotion to his family. He treasured time spent with his children, grandchildren, and his Loving wife. His greatest happiness came from simply being with those he loved.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine and Edward Conley. He is survived by his wife Cecelia; son, Thomas (Jamie) Conley; daughter, Alicia (Joey) Ulch, Jr.; his beloved grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Noah Conley. Bob is also survived by his brother Eddie Ray (Cheryl) Conley; his sisters-and brother- in law Steve Zimmerman, Theresa (Duane) Carlton, and Susie (Sal) Magaddino, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Visitation will be Monday, September 15, 2025, 11:00-1:00 at Turner Funeral Home, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Florida, 34609 with a gravesite service immediately following the visitation.
