Shirley Jean Bishop, 91, passed away peacefully to join the Lord, Tuesday. August 15th surround by her family. She was born September 9, 1925 in Alpena, Michigan to the late Howard S. Edwards and Gladys I. Dorr. She was a retired school bus driver in Louisville, KY. She also was an avid bowler and enjoyed tending to her flowers and living life with all her friends at Holiday Shores Park for the last 18 years. She was a member of Park Street Baptist Church and proudly professed her faith.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Guy L. Bishop.
She is survived by her five children Pamela Ashley, Barbara Jones, Renee Frank and husband Rick, Jody Krysinski and husband Richard, Mike Bishop and wife Kelly; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:30pm Thursday, August 17, 2017 followed by the funeral service at 2:30pm located at Turner Funeral Home. Burial will follow service to Florida Hills Memorial Gardens in Spring Hill, Florida.
