Stephen Joseph “Joe” Elliffe, Jr., 81, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Monday, December 16, 2019. He was born in Bayshore, New York to Stephen and Margaret Elliffe, Sr. Joe was a true jack of all trades: teacher, administrator, pharmacist, organist, choir director, volunteer fireman, florist, and even paper boy in his youth. He taught chemistry for over 30 years, and touched many young lives as a teacher, mentor, and school administrator. He had a true passion for learning and was always willing to help a person in need due to his generous nature.
Preceded in death by his sister Marge Smith (Jeff).
He is survived by his loving wife Joyce E. Elliffe; daughter Erin Pintye (George); brother John Elliffe (Barbara); grandchildren Alexandria and Evan; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2PM Sunday, December 22, 2019 with an hour visitation prior to the service located at Turner Funeral Home 14360 Spring Hill Dr. Spring Hill, FL. 34609.
