Thomas H. Guire

Thomas Guire, 79, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away July 23, 2024 at home. Tom was born in Scranton, PA but the family soon relocated to Hillsborough, NJ. He enlisted in the Army at 17 before starting his family. Tom worked for 3M as a Manager in their rock quarry until his retirement in 2000.

He was the youngest of six children, leaving behind his only living sibling, Patricia Wozniak.

Tom married Bev in 1988 where they blended their family of 8 kids; Lisa Wilson (Kali, Jaime), Michael Davis (Carinne, Lee, Olivia, Haley), Tommy Guire (Tommy, Ashley, Charity, Savanah, Lily), Ken Davis (Caity, Taylor, wife Crystal), Michael Guire (Emily, James, wife Christine), Mindi Reynolds (Paige, Aubrey, husband Chris), Sharon Davis (Brooke and Lily, Amber, Sadie, Kylie, partner Dave) and Traci Bugasch (Elisha, Abigail, Nehemiah, Daniel, Caleb, Esther, husband Dan). Then came the many Grandchildren (listed in parentheses) followed by Great grands who all lovingly called him Pop Pop.

Tom and Bev spent many happy, healthy years traveling. They were fond of cruising and going on bus tours, Graceland being one of his favorites due to his love of Elvis (and Dino).

In 2007, Tom and Bev happily retired to Cloverleaf Farms in Brooksville, Florida before finally settling in Spring Hill.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00am on August 23rd at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.

Memorial contributions can be made in Tom’s memory, childhood cancer was especially upsetting to him, so Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer has been chosen.
