Albert Davis, loving husband of Florence (deceased), passed away peacefully on June 5, 2017, at the age of 92. Albert is survived by his children Fran, Robert and Glenn; adoring grandson Daniel; brother Paul Davis; and nephews Bradley, Garry and Robert Sohn, and Richard, Jeffrey and Jonathan Kaplan.
Albert served honorably in the US Army and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a proud member, post quartermaster and longtime treasurer, of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States, Lipman Erlanger Post 756. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 7, 2017 10:30 AM at Hellman Memorial Chapels 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977. Interment will follow at Frederick W. Loescher Veteran Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY. Shiva services are being held June 7-8, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. For information, contact the New City Jewish Center.
