It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of David Young on February 7th 2022. David was born January 17, 1935 in Bronx, NY. He met our mother, his beloved wife, Shirley, and they moved together to Monsey, NY where they raised their family together. It was a great loss to the family and especially to David when he lost his beautiful wife June 30, 2020. David has been a loving father to Valerie Taylor, Deborah Allen, and Alan Young. He is also father-in-law to Mitchell Taylor and William Allen. He has five grandchildren: Darryl, Kailey, Elena, Bryan, and Brandon, and three great-grandchildren: Theodore, Olivia, and Samuel.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, 1:00PM at Hellman Memorial Chapel 15 State Street, Spring Valley, New York. Burial will follow at Pythian Cemetery, New Hempstead, New York. Charitable donations can be made to Hope Health Care at HopeHCS.org (part of Florida Hospice system).
