Edith Ida Rosen, age 92, of New City, New York passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Born in Brussels, Belgium on November 13th, 1930. Holocaust survivor, she arrived in the United States on or about 1948 at the age of 18, not knowing a word of English. She lived in Manhattan for several years, meeting her future husband, Samuel David Rosen. They were married two weeks after they met, and were together for 63 years until Samuel passed away in 2018. They raised two boys, and were blessed with a grandson. What mattered most to Edith was family. She was dedicated and devoted to family, that was everything to her, and she will be sorely missed.
A graveside service for Edith will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 685 Fairview Avenue, Fairview, NJ 07022.
