I only knew you for two years, but I feel like I knew you for longer. I miss you. You were so kind and smart and talented. You'll forever live in our hearts.

Never in my life have I seen someone who has smiled as much as Gavri. I’ve never seen Gavri in a bad mood and he was always a bright light in our lives. I’ve been thinking about Gavri several times a day for the last few weeks, as I am sure everyone else who knew Gavri has. We will all miss him so much

Gavri, Oh how I miss you every day. Not a second goes by without you being on my mind. You made me a better person, a happier person, and a wiser human. You were the best thing to ever happen in my life and I wish for you to be looking over me day after day. You were taken too soon but I will live through your memory and the courage you shared with me. Our endless facetime talks, walks through the halls, waiting for that last snap streak to come through, how I wish to hear your voice one more time in my lifetime. I miss you so much Gavriel, an angel from above. 

Gavri was a kind caring and compassionate young man. I always enjoyed when he came to visit us with his sisters to spend time with my daughter over shabbos. He loved sports and always seemed to enjoy playing basketball in our driveway.  Although i didn't see him as often because he stopped coming with his sisters as he got older i always remember his passion for sports like soccer. It is difficult to imagine that he is no longer with us but his kindness and compassion has left a profound mark on many people. Sorry i can't be at the levia today but his parents should be proud for raising such a fine Jewish soul. You left us way too early but I am sure that you are looking down on your family and your kindness will always remain with them and those whose lives that you so profoundly touched. 

I had the honor of going to school with Gavri for 2 years. I’ve never seen him frown or say anything negative about anything or anyone. We quickly bonded over our love for ice skating and I distinctly remember him saying that we must go ice skating together. Due to Covid, we never got that opportunity. Gavri, I miss you dearly and you are forever in my heart. <3

I have many fond memories of Gavri one in particular is of when we went snowboarding on a shabbos and he asked me it I was staying until Sunday and I told him that I was he was so happy about and that made me happy as well Gavri wasn’t just a good friend he was more like a brother of mine Gavri always felt that he needed to be the leader of the group to keep everyone one else safe I know it won’t be the same with out him here but I will always love and cherish these memories we’ve had.

The best time I had was when Gavri stayed at our house with miriasa and Ita.
It had snowed a lot and we asked the kids to shovel. Gavri said that he would help out as well. He ended up shoveling most of it and said that he would think twice about coming over again.
We love you Gavri and we love the whole Benson family 

I went to school with Gavri for 2 years, and he was as kind of a person as you could meet. He lit up any room he walked into, always had a joke if you were feeling down, and was always there for you. I wish we were able to play soccer together, and go ice skating. You were so strong, and one of my best friends. You were taken too soon man, I'll always remember you. You will live on through our memories. I love you brother. <3

I had the honor of working with Gavri this past summer, and he was one of the kindest, sweetest souls I have ever met. Me and his lifeguard family miss him a lot. Nothing will be the same without him. I'm lucky to call him my friend. May his Neshama have an Aliya, and your family have nechama.  

Gavri was my best friend during our time working together as Lifeguards for the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds. We were almost always together and our dynamic was wonderful. I will always cherish my memories and experiences on the campground with him. It will never be the same without him.  Sending prayers to the family, and thank you for raising such a wonderful son.

I’m gonna miss u man. It wasn’t your time. I’m happy we had that last conversation and photo.
