Louis "Lou" Mark Moskowitz

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Lou, who left us on the morning of his birthday, December 16, 2025. Lou was a devoted husband, loving father, and adoring grandfather to the lights of his life, his three grandchildren Mackenzie, Mia and Maisie. Lou is survived by his loving wife Caryn, and their children Robert (Jamie) and Carly, his three grandchildren, his brother Howard (Kerry), and sisters Susan (Neal) and Cindy (Farrokh), brother-in-law Rick (Jeanne) and sister-in-law Lisa (Jim), as well as many loving nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

For decades Lou committed himself completely to his family and work with dedication, integrity and pride. He built a fulfilling life in Highland Mills, proudly watching his children grow into the wonderful adults they are today. His family was always at the center of everything he did. In more recent years, he especially enjoyed spending his free time in Florida with his family and friends basking poolside. He loved family holiday dinners at Rob and Jamies home, summer vacations on Cape Cod and the Jersey shore, and watching Jeopardy, often knowing the answers before the others.

From being a grandfather to running a business, Lou will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He built not just a business but a community of trusted relationships with clients, partners and colleagues, many of whom became lifelong friends. His reputation was defined by his work ethic, his friendly demeanor and his ability to get straight to the point. His sense of humor was contagious. Lou cared about others, and everyone loved Lou.

The Jewish people believe that dying on your birthday means that you have achieved the mission you were born to achieve, and that's something worth celebrating.

Funeral services will be held at Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, NY 10977, Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY 10952.
