Rita is survived by her daughters Susan (Raymond) Schoenleber, and Ruth (Phil) Weimann, grandchildren Roy (Kristen), Janet (Christian), and Jason (LyTysha) and great grandchildren Christopher and Heather, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Ralph and Sarah Rockman, her husband Roy, sisters Selma, Lillian, Florence, brothers Jerry and Alex.
Rita worked for the Town of Ramapo for 31 years. The most important thing to Rita was her family and spending time with them. When Rita was not with her family she enjoyed playing mahjong, bowling, gambling especially Las Vegs, and reading.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hellman Memorial Chapel, 15 State Street, Spring Valley, New York. Funeral services will be held graveside on Friday, September 4, 2015, 10:30AM, at Riverside Cemetery, 12 Market Street, Saddle Brook, New Jersey 07663.
