My heart swells with sadness at learning of Steve's passing. As a patient, his guidance and support saved my life and his continued care helped shape and re-build my life in a positive and loving manner. I send the Ratnow family my deepest sympathy for the great loss of a great man. His life made a difference to so many. I'm forever grateful for his care.

Dr. Ratnow was an integral part our lives. I had the honor and privilege of knowing him since I was quite young, and for over 16 years, he was my psychologist, a true gift. His guidance, joy, and unwavering support made me a better person. Our weekly conversations strengthened my soul and helped me navigate the complexities of life.
In my heart, Dr. Ratnow is immortal; his advice and voice will continue to guide me. I extend my deepest sympathies to his family and wish them strength and love during this time of profound loss. I am eternally grateful that Dr. Ratnow was part of my journey.

My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the entire Ratnow Family.
I am proud to say that Dr. Ratnow was my psychologist of many years.
His gentle, kind, compassionate and personable approach to therapy helped me throughout the years.
I will truly miss my early Wednesday morning talks with him. 
I feel so heartbroken, as he felt more like a trusted friend than just a therapist. 
I will miss his relatable stories and his similar sense of humor that helped me so much.

Dear Sydney,
Neal and I would not be Neal and I if not for you and Steve.  We shared many happy memories together when we were all dating.  Lucky for us we both had very long happy marriage.!!
You were always there for me and now I hope to be able to help you through these difficult days.  You are a very strong woman and Steve has left behind a beautiful caring family!  He will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him!

What can one say about Steve's passing?  He was a much loved and respected person and a dear friend.  He will be greatly missed.  Words cannot express our sorrow.  He will always live in our hearts as a dear memory.  He will not be forgotten.
