Dear Michael, Eric, and Fayth,

I was so saddened to hear about Wendy's passing. I know there are no words to truly ease your pain, but I wanted to reach out and let you how sorry I was.

For almost 30 years, I've had the privilege of knowing your family through my friendship with Eric. Wendy was always so sweet and caring, and from the moment I met her, she made me feel so welcome. I will always remember her kindness and the warmth she shared with me and everyone around her.

We were so sorry that we couldn't be there to offer our support in person at the funeral. Please know that we are thinking of you all during this incredibly difficult time.

Wen, my good friend since 7 th grade. As teens we stayed in your basement and sang along with LESLEY GORE. WE had many sleepovers and beach days at orchard beach . Of course we always ate your favorite…..tuna and cucumbers with bagels or crackers. 
Fast forward to being moms. We would take our kids to the pool together.  We lost people and were always there for each other.  We shared our fears and worries and you were always so optimistic and so strong. And we were always so happy for each other .
In our New City days we saw each other with our husbands. We met for lunch with the girls and your kids, being older than mine , began to babysit for my kids. My kids remember you taking them trick or treating when my dad was in the hospital. We all got along so well. 
In Florida we would meet for breakfast or lunch. It was always so fun being together with our MIKES. We four were so similar. 
We kept in touch from seventh grade to May 2025…….62 years of a friendship we cherished. 
I miss you already.  I still can’t believe this happened so quickly. Mike and I and my kids loved you very much. 
Mike, Fayth, Eric, and Renee our hearts are hurting for your great loss. Of course we send our condolences to all of Wendy’s family and her precious grandchildren too. You will be missed.

When I came to P.S. 105 as a high school teaching-intern, Wendy was part of an amazing group of early-childhood teachers who really took me in and showed me so much about what being a good teacher really meant. When I became an actual teacher at P.S. 105, she continued to be an amazing example and was always there to help her colleagues and, most of all, the children. She will be dearly missed and her legacy continues through the teachers she mentored and the children she taught. My deepest condolences to her family at this time—she was an amazing woman.

Please accept my sincerest condolences!
I knew Wendy at P.S. 105 for many years.  She was hardworking, insightful, knowledgeable and kind!  Her contributions fortified the learning environment of our school!  She made our world a better place!

Life is made in small moments and this is one of them:

 Wendy was one of my mentor teachers in my first 3 years of teaching at PS 105 in the Bronx  17 years ago. One of my core memories of Wendy was when she  tool the lead from my class of 1st grade English Language Learners where they wanted to write about the imaginary world of their "stuffies".

She then led a fictional writing unit with my students, touching their hearts and amazing imaginations, to build a connected world of their stuffies. This all culminated in my classroom being covered in their stuffies surrounded by their written stories. 

She loved being an educator and mentor and her memory will live in all of us.

Wendy was family and was part of many family gatherings in Queens at her Aunt Annette’s house. She filled the room with her stories and smile. Later on Wendy visited Seattle a few times to comfort her cousin Lin who was living with MS. We always enjoyed small adventures, much laughter, and love. After Lin’s death, Wendy continued to bring light to my own life. I was lucky to have her in my life. 

The memories will last forever.

I never met a more devoted and caring educator than my dear friend, Wendy. She was dedicated to giving each child the best education possible. She was also one of the best mentors for new teachers.  I was so blessed to have had her as my colleague and especially as my friend! Wendy, you are forever in our hearts!

We are heartbroken over the loss of our dear cousin Wendy .  She was a shining light in our family .  Our love and prayers go out to Michael and the family .

Wendy was an honest, intelligent, insightful and understanding woman. She was delightful and caring teacher who will be missed. My condolences for her and prayers for her family too will be said.

Wendy May you rest in Peace. You will be greatly missed. Condolences to the family. Wendy was a great mother, teacher and person.
