Charles A. Brown

Charles A. Brown, age 95, of Greenfield, Ohio (formerly of Wellman, Iowa) passed away peacefully at his daughters home on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 4:15 AM. Born in Agar, South Dakota on January 13, 1930 he was a son to the late Charles Owen Brown & Ivy Fern (Rogers) Brown. Charles was a graduate of Oak Park Academy in Iowa, and earned his college degree in Agriculture from LaSierra University in LaSierra, California. He worked at the school farms as a manager. He was a kind, honest, trustworthy man, who took the time to help others, and spread the love of the lord in the ways he treated others the way he would’ve wanted to be treated. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Helen (Sorensen) Brown: as well as his 3 sisters.

Survived by his daughters Debbie & Gary Vesely: Vikki Jarrett: grandchildren Catie Beth Freeze; Caleb Freeze; Dee & Leroy Ross; Charlie & Angela Jarrett: great-grandchildren Maddie Freeze; Alyssa Ross; Colton & Kaylin Jarrett: and a host of many friends and loved ones.

Per Charles’ wishes, there will not be any services at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Anderson Funeral Home, Franklin, Ohio.
