Dianne Dunaway

Dianne Dunaway, age 82 of Franklin, Ohio passed away peacefully at Arlington Pointe Rehabilitation Center, Middletown, Ohio on January 30, 2026. Born in Flora, Illinois on June 11, 1943 she was a daughter to the late Phillip & Dorothy (Smith) Sagester. Dianne was a graduate of Princeton High School in Sharonville, Ohio, class of 1961. She was a long-time member of West Chester Nazarene Church, where she was secretary as well as a member of the choir. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing tennis, ceramics, and sewing dresses and clothing for her daughters. More than anything, Dianne loved her family and will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers James and Fred Sagester.

Survived by her husband of 62 years, Benny Dunaway, whom she married December 22, 1963: daughters Tammy & Melvin McKay: Vicki Dunaway: grandchildren Talia & Scott; Taylor & Samantha; Michael & Alexis; Trent; Christina & Zac; Evan & Kandace; Ashley & Dusty; Dalton & Lyndsie; Benny & Kyle: great-grandchildren Kaelyn, Jack, Abigail, Brooke, Carley, Riley, Charlie, Jocelyn, Andie, Maren, Paisley, Emery, Brooks, Delilah, Norah, Emma, Dani, Dominic, Zoei: as well as Janet Sagester, Pat Sagester, Brooks Dunaway, Bonnie Dunaway, and Nieces and Nephews and Cousins, and many amazing friends and other family members.

Friends may call on the family from 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066. Funeral service to be held at 1:00 PM with Pastors Alex Mahaffey and Pastor Bob Mahaffey presiding. Burial to follow at Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio.
