Camp, George H. age 78; of Springboro, OH; died Monday March 2, 2020 at Southview Hospital. George was born in Morrow, OH on February 6, 1942 to the late Halbert Fay and Wilda Marie (Drake) Camp. George was a Lebanon High School graduate class of 1960, was called to preach in 1972, graduate of Nazarene Bible College class of 1976; was a Gideon. He was ordained into the ministry in 1978 in the West Texas District Church of the Nazarene. George was a foster parent for over 20 years and formerly was the golf superintendent with Armco. George retired from preaching in 2010. He was a member of the Germantown Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed fishing, golfing and yard selling. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Della “Rabbit” (Combs) Camp; his daughters, Kimberly (James Sr) Bowman, Traci Helm; grandchildren, Samantha (Christopher) Tolson, Alice Bowman, Megan (Matthew) Kleinschmidt, James (Sabrina) Bowman Jr, Tabi (Brandon) Cox, Bethany Helm, Gracie Helm, Raelynn Demanya, Rayden Demanya; great grandchildren, Cordelia Tolson, Hunter Tolson, MacGyver Tolson, Stella Bishop, Oliver Bowman, Sofia Lee, and Aidan Matte’o; his sister, Judy Judd. Funeral Services are 1pm Friday March 6, 2020 at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH with Dr. Bob Mahaffey officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 11am to 1pm. He will be missed by his beloved dog Daisy and many other family and friends.
