I remember Joby as a man that always had a big grin and smile on his face.  As a design engineer in the suspension group you could always count on Joby to step up to the plate anytime an emegrency situation came up in the design area. He was a great mentor to new people in the are. Everybody loved him. I will treasure my memories of him forever. He has left us too soon. He had so much more to give this world!

I am truly saddened by the news of this. Joby was one of a kind. I remember coaching football with him as both our sons played on the team. RIP my friend you will be missed. 

Carlisle lost a good man. He was an inspiration to others. I offer my deepest condolences to the Horn family. As long as we are remembered, we are not truly gone.

we would wind down for hours in the basement after playing a gig...good times...!

Being 6 years younger than my sister Nancy and Joby I was naturally the annoying little brother poor Joby had to deal with when he would come over to our  house when he dated my sister.   I always thought he was cooler than "Fonzi" back in that day and likely hung out with them more than they would have wanted for sure.  It was cool to have this big brother all a sudden.  He was pretty tough by reputation and all a sudden I wasn't getting picked on at school so much. As good of an athlete at football and wrestling,  where Joby truly excelled in my opinion was in the world of "leisure sports" and beyond! I think during Nancy's College days when she worked at her job too there were these days just me and Joby would hang out. Never a moment not filled with something fun to do.  That is when I was introduced for the first time in my life to bowling, golf,  cards,  board games, putt putt golf, pool, pinball, ping pong, shooting ranges, throwing darts for circus prizes, playing guitars and he always had fast cars.  All things that I could never beat him at but loved trying. I always had to buy the root beers which Joby loved almost as much as Mountain Dew.  He even gave me a chance at ping pong one time where he played me with his 1980's comb and he still won. Joby taught me a whole lot more than just how to have fun over the years. He always had spot on advice and a street smart way about him to help me stay out of trouble. Most of all he was a very loving, patient caring man to his family and close friends and when he loved you you knew it.

I worked with Joby at CDI aerospace. He was easily one of my favorite people I worked with. We shared many laughs from work/home related things to talking about sopranos. (which he turn me on to) He gave me great advise on work related things too. I had a saying "Everybody loves Joby"  and everyone did. He will be missed-Godspeed Joby

Some of my fondest childhood memories are times spent with my cousin  Joby.  He was always happy and so much fun to be with.  So thankful that I was able to see him recently, give him a hug and tell him that I love him. My thoughts and prayers are with his precious family.
