Juanita S. Chappel

Juanita Stephens Chappel of Springboro, Ohio, passed away on June 8, 2020, at age 89. She was born in Jackson, Kentucky, to Rev. Chalmer and Magnolia Keith Howard. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband of 47 years Elisha Earl Stephens, and all of her siblings Ethel Stepp, Helen Delph, Robert Howard, Burl Howard, and Buford Howard. She is survived by her children Dr. Ron Stephens (Jane) of San Antonio, TX, Rick Stephens (Burke) of Louisville, KY, Kathy Kiser (Frank) of Xenia, OH, Kris Holt Martin of Springboro, OH, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She is also survived by her husband Don Chappel and his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Juanita was a kind and loving person. She was an active listener who offered uplifting love and support to her family and friends who will continue to hold her love in their hearts.

Funeral arrangements will be made by Anderson Funeral Home in Springboro. Due to the pandemic, a private family graveside service is planned. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Floral arrangements can be delivered to the graveside at Heritage Hills Cemetery on the service day to be announced.
