I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Kathy - she will be greatly missed. I worked directly with Kathy at Deloitte for many years and she was always dedicated, trustworthy and positive. We worked together through several difficult situations and she helped me tremendously with her professionalism and empathy.

Kathy was a true professional and a friend. May she rest in piece.

We at The Wright B Flyer, Inc., extend our deepest sympathy to the Hoyng Family. Kathy was our Tuesday volunteer at the Wright B hangar for several years. Kathy always had a positive attitude about everything. Among the many things we will always remember Kathy for, is that she remembered the birth date of every volunteer at the hangar and would conduct a birthday celebration once each month. She would make a birthday cake and we had to sing, Happy Birthday. May God Rest her Soul.

Kathy was such a dear friend to all of us. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her closely for over 4 years. She was obsessively passionate about her work, her people and the teams that she supported. She was brimming with humor and was always and ever ready to help. I was so much looking forward to meet her when she had a plan to visit India post her retirement. It's impossible for me to believe that she is not with us any more. May her soul rest in peace. May God give all of you a lot of courage to bear with this immense loss. Miss you Kathy!!!

Kathy, one of my original interviewers at Deloitte almost 14 years ago, was one tough cookie who had a heart of pure gold. She was a mentor, a supervisor and my friend.

Elliott, she was always so proud of you. She called me when you got an internship, when you graduated and when you joined our organization.

George, she bragged about you all the time.

My heart felt sympathies go out to you both. She was truly loved.

George and Elliott - I'd like to express my deepest condolences to you on the loss of Kathy. As our Deployment Leader, Kathy hired me as a resource manager and I truly enjoyed working with her. She was kind and supportive as I learned the ropes at Deloitte. She came to Portland to visit a dear friend of hers, but also found time to take me to lunch during that trip - I truly appreciated that. You are both in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

George and Elloitt – Heartfelt condolences on your loss from Susanna and me. Kathy’s sense of honor and belief in doing what is right was always at the forefront. Kathy exemplified the best of talent leadership. From the laughs, to the challenges and through many successes, and yes even sports losses (basketball and football), Kathy was always there for us when we needed the “how do we, can we, should we” answer. Elloitt, your mother was very proud of you, mention your name and her smiles brightened the room.

George and Elloitt,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Kathy for a number of years at Deloitte. Throughout our years together she was my partner in crime for many projects. She called out things that didn't make sense, she asked amazing questions, and she always, always, had "fun" and "football" on her mind. I enjoyed hearing about how school went for you Elloitt, especially as you transitioned into the "big 4" world. She was SO PROUD of you. She also always made time for anyone. One of my favorite memories was getting to go out to lunch with her in Springboro as my best friend lives only a few miles away from your home.

Your mom was a gift. We will all miss her dearly.

I worked with Kathy for many years at Deloitte. She was a pleasure to work with. She had such a positive attitude and made a huge contribution to any project she was working on. She will be sorely missed and is gone too soon. Best regards to her family and especially to Elliot, who she talked about a lot and was so proud of.

With warm sympathy,

Sandy Herrygers
