Richard A. Sharp

With full hearts and deep gratitude for a life lived with purpose, generosity, and unwavering love, the family of Richard Sharp announces his peaceful passing. He was a man whose presence made life warmer, steadier, and richer for everyone fortunate enough to know him.

For 73 remarkable years, he shared a devoted marriage with his beloved wife, Liz Sharp. Their partnership was a testament to loyalty, humor, and enduring affection—a bond that shaped the family they built together.

He was the proud father of three daughters, each of whom he cherished:

· Amy (Jeff) Blankenbecler

His love extended to his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy:

· Jen (Jeremy) Mann

· Zac Amand (Sarah Miller)

· Zack (Mary) Blankenbecler

· Chris (Zach Derenge) Reazer

He was also blessed with 11 great-grandchildren, each one a bright light in his later years: Chase Amand; Will, Max, and Abby Morgan; Jameson Miller; Devin and Jaylynn Mann; James, Caleb, Mia, Jeffery, Freya and Nathan Blankenbecler

A hardworking and passionate man, he built and operated his own Heating and Air business, a craft he poured his heart into. His work was more than a livelihood—it was a calling. He took pride in serving his community with honesty, skill, and dedication.

Yet, above all accomplishments, his family remained the center of his world. He delighted in every gathering, every story shared, every milestone celebrated. His presence was a source of comfort, his laughter a familiar melody, and his love a constant foundation.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, integrity, and devotion that will continue to guide his family for generations. Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.

May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love he so freely gave.

A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Anderson Funeral Home- Springboro Chapel, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
