Ron was a devoted husband, loving father, and a man who took great pride in his family. He lived by a blue-collar work ethic instilled in him by his parents, Les and Peg Reule, the hardworking owners and operators of the Germantown Candy Company. Family always came first for Ron, and his life was a testament to dedication, loyalty, and service.
Ron graduated from Bracken County High School in 1958 and went on to earn his undergraduate degree in Education from Morehead State University. He later earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University. Ron devoted 40 years of his life to education as a teacher, coach, and principal, impacting generations of students and athletes.
A man of great faith, Ron was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Carlisle, OH and his love for the church and his Lord and Savior guided every aspect of his life. His teaching, coaching, leadership, and daily walk reflected his deep spiritual commitment.
A passionate educator and coach, Ron loved sports and believed deeply in the value of competition, teamwork, and personal growth. He was known for his unwavering belief in hard work, dedication, and putting the team first. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he shaped both in the classroom and in the athletic venue.
On August 19, 1967, Ron married the love of his life and his best friend, Millie (Ryle) Reule. Together, they shared 58 years of marriage and partnership. Millie was not only his wife but also an educator, coach, and the devoted mother of their four children.
