

Ron was born on September 11th, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio to Eldred Byron and Mabel (Lees) Siler. He was a 1955 graduate of Roosevelt High School where he ran track and played football. He proudly served his country in the Ohio Army National Guard from 1958-1964.
Ron worked 16 years for NCR Corporation and 24 years for New Dimensions in Medicine as a Quality Control Supervisor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marcia Seifferth.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela S. Siler, married 58 years. A proud father to his children Lisa L. (Travis) Campbell and Jeffrey C. Siler and grandfather to Travis Siler, Zoe Campbell and Addison Siler.
Ron could often be found enjoying his favorite hobby; building and flying model airplanes. He belonged to the W.O.R.K.S. (Western Ohio Radio Kontrol Society) RC Club as the oldest member of over 50 years.
He and Pam enjoyed traveling during their many years together, taking trips to Florida, Tennessee and Amish Country.
Ron never met a stranger, making a friend everywhere he went. One of his favorites things to do was sit around a table and enjoy a meal and conversation with friends and family. He was a die-hard Ohio State Buckeyes fan and never missed a game.
Family and friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N. Main Street, Springboro. A service for Ron will follow with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will take place at Springboro Cemetery.
