Adam Joseph Widner, 20, of Springfield, died at 4:33 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2001 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born February 25, 1981 the son of Don & Margaret Sue Blank Widner. Adam had worked at varous jobs and enjoyed playing basketball. He was very well liked and had many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Sue Maledy Surviving are his father; three brothers and three sister; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Private family services were held Thursday in Springfield. The family was served by Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home.
