Alice Ann Curtis, 66, of Springfield, died at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Johns Hospice. Alice was born November 12, 1951 in Springfield, the daughter of Gilbert A. and Maude Davenport Dudley. Alice graduated from New Berlin High School and attended Lincoln Land Community College. She received her CNA through Memorial Medical Center. She was a homemaker and CNA and then a teachers aide for many years. Alice was a member of Berlin Christian Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening, singing, and playing with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maude Dudley and granddaughter, Ali Curtis. She is survived by children, Dori (fianc, Arron Wessing) of Athens and Robin Curtis of Springfield; father, Gilbert Dudley of Springfield; three grandchildren, Tony Tompkins, Crystal Hudgeons, and Arron Wessing, Jr.; twin brother, Gilbert "Bud" Dudley of New Berlin; sister, Jeanenne Bodine of Springfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Ceremony: 11:00 on Friday, December 1, 2017 at McCullough-Delaney and Butler Funeral Home, 714 E.
