Alicia L. Reed

Alicia was born August 2, 1952, in Springfield, the daughter of Daniel Lawrence and Esther Lynn Fleagle Westerfield.

She graduated from Lanphier High School and was employed as an accountant with Federated Funeral Directors until her retirement in April of 2017. Alicia also worked at Marine Bank. She was a member of Kumler United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Alicia was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Steve and Russell Westerfield; and nephew, James Lee.

She is survived by her siblings, Lela and Anita Westerfield, both of Springfield, Lee Westerfield of Lincoln, and Larry (Nancy) Westerfield of Decatur and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.

Memorial Gathering and Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2021, at Kumler United Methodist Church, 600 N. 5th St., Springfield, IL. A memorial ceremony will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Don Goodenow officiating.

Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
