Angela C. Beauchamp

Angela "Angie" C. Beauchamp, 90, of Springfield, passed away at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her residence. Angie was born on August 11, 1927 in Kankakee County, IL, the daughter of Carl George and Mary Heimburger Fritz. She married Kenneth Beauchamp on October 11, 1952 in Herscher, IL; he preceded her in death on March 8, 2017. Angie was a graduate of Herscher High School. She then earned her bachelors degree from St. Francis College in Joliet. Angie helped a friend run a pre-school for many years and also worked as an artist for Bressmers in their advertising department. She enjoyed crafts and was a member of Springfield Craft Club. Angie was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Aloysius Fritz; and two sisters, Anna Rita Durand and Mary Genevieve Inkster. She is survived by her sons, Kent Beauchamp of Springfield and Greg (wife, Ramona) Beauchamp of Bell Buckle, TN; two daughters, Carla (husband, Gary) Krone of Pleasant Prairie, WI and Cathy (husband, Michael) Clark of Shelby Township, MI; ten grandchildren, Sarah Zorn, Benjamin Beauchamp, Isaac Krone, Theresa Beardsly, Jaclyn Campbell, Abbey Clark, Laura Evans, Rose Beauchamp, Kenna Krone, and Andrew Clark; three siblings, Collette Cheffuer of Kankakee, IL, Sr. Mary Karla Fritz, OP of Springfield, and Bernard (wife, Virginia) Fritz of Kankakee County, IL; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation will be accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Gathering and Funeral Mass: Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Church of the Little Flower, 800 Stevenson Dr., Springfield. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Allen Kemme, celebrant. Private family burial will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
