Anita J. Smith-Taylor, 70, of Springfield, died at 5:20 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born on February 29, 1936 in Old Berlin, Illinois, the daughter of Oscar and Rosaline Douglas Clark. She was employed as a secretary with the Illinois Department of Revenue for twenty years. She also enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and one brother. She is survived by one daughter: Rebecca “Becky” (husband, Larry) Laurent of Springfield; one son: Richard (wife, Barbara) Taylor of Sacramento, CA; four grandchildren; one sister: Jane (husband, Dave) Burge of Springfield and two brothers: Jim (wife, Norma) Clark and Bill (wife, Norma) Clark both of Springfield. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at Berlin Cemetery in Berlin, IL with Rev. Paul Rose, officiating. The family of Anita J.
