Ann J. Kerr, 69, of Springfield, died at 8:55 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at St. John's Hospice. Ann was born October 12, 1938 in Springfield, the daughter of Albert Kerr, Sr. and Margaret Carter. Ann was employed as a medical reference librarian for the State of Illinois. She was a strong, feisty lady with an amazing sense of humor. She enjoyed reading, playing piano, singing and art. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Albert Kerr, Jr.; and half-brother, James Kerr. She is survived by a daughter, Heather Adams of Virginia; a son, Perry Adams of Quincy; one grandchild; one half-brother, Drew Kerr of Dawson; one half-sister, Debra Kerr of Springfield; step-mother, Jean Kerr of Springfield; and friend, Tim Feurer who was like a son to her. Graveside ceremonies will be at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. The family of Ann J.
