

Barbara A. Buguveski Hooper, 62, of Jacksonville, formerly of Springfield, died at 2:50 a.m., Monday, January 31, 2005 at her residence. Barbara was born February 19 1942 in Springfield the daughter of John and Adella Gent Buguveski. She married Edgar Hooper in September 2002 in Jacksonville. Mrs. Hooper graduated Cum Laude from Ursuline Academy, she was also a graduate of Springfield Junior College and from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago with a teaching degree. She worked for the State Hospital teaching music and later as a Rehabilitation Coordinator. She was active in teaching piano lessons and was a member of a bible study in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Edgar Hooper of Jacksonville; two sisters: Marilyn Buguveski of Springfield, Carolyn (husband, Lonnie) Williams of Jacksonville; two nephews: Jeff Williams of Springfield, Greg Williams of Roodhouse; one niece: Andrea Martin of Springfield; four great nieces: Chloe and Caroline Martin, Nina and Nicole Williams; two great nephews: Brock and Gannon Williams; five stepchildren: Edgar Lee Hooper of Hannibal, MO, Patricia Hooper of Columbia, MO, Lynn Hooper of Hannibal, MO, Ben Hooper of Springfield, MO and Jim Hooper of Farmington, MO and nine step grandchildren; . Family will receive friends from 4-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. Visitation will begin with a prayer service at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2005 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2119 N. 20th St. Springfield with Rev. Donald Meehling celebrant. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, Always & Forever Memorial & Honor Program, P.O.
