Bill E. Westwood, Jr., of Springfield, passed away January 30, 2001 at Danville Veterans Hospital. He was born August 2, 1934 the son of William E. and Betty Lietz Westwood in Springfield. Mr. Westwood was a Veteran of the Army. He was employed by SASCO and he worked as a car salesman at various dealerships. He also worked for Les Fountain Trucking Company in Edinburg, IL. He was preceded in death by two sons: Gregory Westwood in 1982 and Douglas Westwood in 1998. He is survived by a son: Bill (wife, Pat) Westwood of Berlin, IL; two grandchildren; two cousins and his dog Sambo. Friends may call at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home from 12-1:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2001. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Jon Berg officiating.
