Bonnie W. Johnson, 85, of Springfield, died at 5:40 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Heritage Health. Bonnie was born on September 28, 1932, in Toronto, Canada, the daughter of Otis and Ruth Wanless White. Bonnie graduated from Springfield High School in 1950 and attended Lindenwood College in St. Charles, MO. She was employed as a seamstress, specializing in alterations most of her life. Bonnie enjoyed dancing. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jackie Fields; brother, Otis Bo White; and Craig Johnsons wife, Diddra Johnson. She is survived by her sons, Craig Johnson of Pleasant View, TN, Gary (wife, Debra) Johnson, Kevin Johnson and Kirk (wife, Mary Jo) Johnson, all of Springfield; daughter, Karen (husband, Ted) Bishop of Springfield; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Cremation was accorded by Butler Cremation Tribute Center prior to ceremonies. Memorial Ceremony: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield, with Celebrant Judy Woerner officiating.
