

Brant T. Gramlich, 32, of Springfield, died at 6:11 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at his home. Brant was born on August 20, 1973 in Springfield, the son of Charles and Barbara Rowley Gramlich. He married Angela M. McOlgan on November 18, 2000 in Springfield, they later divorced. He was a 1991 graduate of Springfield High School. He was a Lance Corporal of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in Somalia. He was a combat engineer and received heavy equipment training while stationed at Camp Lejeune. He was employed as a Crane Operator, working from the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 965. He was a member of the Blue Ridge Club and enjoyed socializing. He liked Cadillacs and Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was a dedicated father to his children. He is survived by one son: Cash M. Gramlich of Springfield, one daughter: Annaliese M. Gramlich of Springfield; parents: Charles J. Gramlich of Springfield and Barbara E. Gramlich of Carterville, IL; one sister: Ann C. Gramlich of Springfield; grandmother: Margaret Rowley of Taylorville and his fiance’: Tara Molnar of Springfield. Cremation accorded by Cremation Tribute Center, 900 S. 6th St. Springfield. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 524 E. Lawrence, Springfield with Rev. Robert Jallas, celebrant. Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery where the Interveterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County will conduct military honors. The family invites everyone to a reception at the Dublin Pub, 2413 S. MacArthur, Springfield following the comittal services.
