Brian Joseph Phillips, 39, of Springfield, died 9:20 p.m., Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at St. John’s Hospital emergency room in Springfield. Brian was born April 21, 1965 in Springfield, the son of Richard E. and Karen M. Smith Phillips. Mr. Phillips is survived by his parents: Richard E. and Karen M. Phillips of Springfield; two sons: Matthew Bricky of Springfield and Bryce Jakob Phillips of Daytona Beach, FL; two daughters: Cathy M. Hamilton of Springfield, and Michelle Hamilton of Ocean Side, CA; two brothers: Scott M. Phillips of Springfield, and Toby E. Phillips of Tamms, IL; grandmother: Neanetta L. Smith of Springfield, several aunts and uncles, one niece, one nephew, and several cousins. Cremation accorded by Cremation Tribute Center. No services are planned at this time.
